The area where Punta Brava is located, in the Cabo Corrientes region, is known locally as "Las Peñas" (The Rocks) because almost the entire coastline is covered in rocks, making snorkeling a truly unique experience. The cliffs and the depth mean that just a short distance from the surface, you can see fish of all sizes and colors, using only the air you can breathe. The caves formed among the rocks and the wide variety of corals create a diverse underwater landscape of varied shapes and colors, where you can observe small fish like surgeonfish, parrotfish, and all kinds of mojarras. You can also spot enormous fish like tarpon, or encounter sea turtles, sharks, snappers, groupers, and much more. During whale season, it's possible to see some of them. Guests who participate in this activity can enjoy the underwater concerts they provide with their songs.
