Service Description

Our whale watching tour is designed with the sole purpose of seeing these giant marine mammals. The tour takes place along the coast of Cabo Corrientes, an ideal location for this activity as it is the entry route for humpback whales into Utría Bay. On most trips, and with the assistance of our marine activities staff, the first sighting occurs within the first hour of the journey. From then on, the goal is to slowly approach to the recommended distance for this type of viewing, which is approximately 50 meters. From this point, you can see them in all their splendor: the engines are turned off to avoid disturbing or stressing them during their breeding season, allowing you to witness any play, breaching, or courtship displays.
